Sudoku is a deceptively simple logic game, originally created in 1979 by the American architect, Howard Garns. It was introduced to Japan in 1986 and by 2005 had become a world wide phenomena. Here's one of the best implementations of that game available. With very few exceptions, I'm not susceptible to computer games. Spider is one of those exceptions. My inability to find an acceptable version of this game that I could run on my little iPAQ finally drove me to writing my own version. This is the result. Because the development was done in C#.NET and the deployment is a Compact Framework MSI, it should work on any Pocket PC running version 2002 or up. One of the problems that a consultant who charges by the hour runs into on a regular basis is keeping track of time. This little application was designed to address the average consultant's need to track client billable time. There are two types of appointments that we have to keep. One is at an absolute date and time and the other is time relative to now. An example of a relative time would be having to get back to the cafeteria in ten minutes because that's when the microwave is going to be done with heating your lunch. Outlook or other products like that do a wonderful job at handling appointments but almost nothing out there that makes it easy to tell your computer to remind you of something that needs doing in five minutes - until now. H&A Timer was designed to make it as easy as possible to specify any amount of time to wait and, when the time is up, have your computer tell you the time has elapsed. This little utility provides a GUI front end to the command line utility, XCopy. H&A's Vixen is an Outlook to LG VX4400 Phone Synchronization Windows application. H&A's End Of Day is a web based end of day stock data service. H&A's Miner is Windows program designed to enable the inspection of historical stock data and apply user defined scripts to filter or generate trade signals.
